Bourns now offers a miniature two-electrode surface mount Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) in an extended voltage range. Versions are available with leads for through-hole and without leads for cassette applications. 800 V and 1100 V models are now available. In addition to the existing surface mount version, the 2039 GDTs are ideal for board level protection of broadband applications due to their low capacitance and high energy-handling capability. Only 5 mm in diameter, the 2039 Series offers superior protection characteristics suitable for telecommunications, commercial and industrial applications.
